Les rêves métalliques de
M. Feron

The installation-performance “Les rêves métalliques de M. Feron” is a project which started when Josep-Maria Balanyà visited the caves of a house in Brussels, in July 2005.

The enormous quantity of scrap in complete disorder he saw in there suggested him the idea of a tailor-made work. This work is made up by multiple elements, encompassing twelve different qualities of sound.

The resulting installation is, on the one hand, a set of sonorous objects and, on the other hand, an appealing interactive instrument for the public. More over, it can be seen as a Phoenix polysculpture, born on the ashes of the scrap.
